Photography in Mexico, an exhibition that will feature more than one hundred and fifty works spanning nearly a century, opened in early March at SFMoMA.
From Lourdes Grobet’s examinations of lucha libre to Edward Weston and Tina Modotti’s portraits of a country forming on the heels of a revolution, the exhibition features the work of photographers who have claimed Mexico as home and those who have found inspiration there over the years.
